If I'm not mistaken I believe I dsabled my backup system to decrese CPU power usage for background programs. That should cause Pro Tools to right itself. No problems. Loading...

It kinda seems wierd that things were working perfectly, and then I actually did what it is telling me to do to fix the error... I've tried to load sessions from my external FireWire drive, my USB drive, and my internal drive but everytime I get about 20 seconds into playback then the error shows up. As you've probably found, Pro Tools has a habit of generating some rather cryptic error messages when things go wrong, so firstly, let's see if we can demistify some of these. in my case, before error appears, the percentage of disk goes up a lot, more than 30%... Quit Pro Tools and run Apple's Disk Utility application, which you will find in the Utilities folder inside your main Applications folder. And by the way, even though you need internet access to register the Ignition Pack and Pro Tools, you do not need it on the computer you're using Pro Tools on.
